Wilderness chic (also known as Outdoor chic/fashion) is a fashion trend centered around the look of hikers, climbers, and mountaineers.

Among the most popular brands are Arc'teryx, Columbia Sportswear, The North Face, , Patagonia, REI, Mountain Hardwear, 66° North, Marmot, Merrell boots and Jack Wolfskin. UGG boots and Timberland boots are two examples of fashionable items that were originally meant for practical outdoor use.

Common accessories include outdoor brand daypacks which were originally designed for hiking being used as every day bookbags, Nalgene bottles and carabiners, which were originally made for hiking and mountaineering, but now are often used to hold keys.
